Newbie from Phoenix

Post by Wagon dude » Fri Dec 16, 2016 4:42 am

Newbie checking in from Phoenix. Just picked up a 97 ex vtec. This will be my 4th goon in about 5 years. Love the goons. It seems like every time I get a wagon and fix it up, one of my boys says they want it. Well, not this time. This one is all mine don't really know where I want to go with it yet. It will take a minute to figure this one out.

Welcome dude. Sounds like you have good taste. What do you consider fixing it up? Getting it running, restoring or modifying? Got any picks of your new and old wagons?

No pics of the other goons. :(
I'll take some pics of this one shortly. All stock for now. Really thinking of a color change. Also, My son is trying to talk me into air ride suspension. Dropping it in the weeds. Lol. Just want a nice looking great running goon.

Not dead. Yet. But not what it was a couple years ago, either.

I've been working in Prescott AZ, got a 2 month work project here...

Found a EX 5sp 94 Wagon for sale out east of Tuscan on Craigslist Thursday night, drove out and bought it this weekend! Passed through Phoenix both directions.

Speaking of which, there's a decent looking 5sp 91 Wagon on Phoenix CL right now that I was tempted by but I really wanted the CE1 :-)

Anyhow, welcome; I believe most of us populate the "all Honda" forums as well. There's just something special about Wagons....

94 was the last year that Honda made an EX s-speed. Nice score.

Just found one in Minneapolis but it's in rough shape. https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hnp/ ... 32314.html
I picked up one in Eau Claire this summer and working on fixing rust issues sometimes I really hate living in the rust belt. Was wondering if you had pics nice find I'm starting to think there more common than everybody thinks.
