Thanks Kellen and sorry for the confusion. What I meant is that a cheap muffler (walker, bosal...), as well as exhaust line (extension) made of galvanised steel do not usually last more than two winters. I want to keep the car for as long as the body will be in decent shape, say another 5-6 years. All Hondas I had so far (except my last wagon) have been wrecked because of deep corrosion, not mileage. The only way to get longer-lasting exhaust system is to go with genuine Honda parts (4-6 years but $$$$)or aftermarket stainless steel parts for lower cost. As I am not an expert, nor do I have much spare time to start I would rather go with with something that's been proven to fit (esp. a wagon...) with minimal customization. I know ApexI used to manufacture a 2'' center section (resonator) and muffler kit specific to wagons but I looks like it's been discontinued. Even there... What kind of CC, center pipe and front pipe am I using with such an oversized kit. Any real output difference?
What have you guys opted for? Thanks! -RR
