My turned signals stopped working the other day so today I had some time and changed the fuse (the old fuse was definitely bad) up under the steering column. The turn signals worked fine and after the first few times I used the turn signals after replacing the fuse then they stopped working again and I pulled the brand new fuse back out and it too was bad. Has anyone had this happen to them before and knows what could be the problem/solution?

never had this happen but you probably have a frayed wire making a short circuit somewhere

either that or your relay is shorting out

Yeah, I just replaced the fuse again and it did the same again. Does this mean I"m going to need new wires for my blinkers?

The relay may be shorting out for them....which will really suck because it's on the panel up under the dash. For me it's a bitch to get to.

I haven't personally had this issue, but something somewhere is shorting them out.

The relay is not the same thing as the flasher right? What exaclty is the flasher and where is it located? Someone told me it might be the flasher. The hazards were working last time the blinkers weren't and now they aren't so I believe the relay is probably it. I'll going to wait till day light to look at the wiring. Which relay above the fuse panel is the turn signal/hazard relay?

I couldn't tell you, they are all side by side....

I cannot remember off the top of my head but there is a way to tell which is bad...I'll have to do some diggin in old notes to find out. *blows dust off laptop* lol They have seperate relays but if one is bad then the other won't work, but not the other way around....hope this isn't more confusing :drinkers:

What about the bulbs are they the correct ones? Sometimes the Voltage or wattage might be to high on the ones you have now...
