How did the 5 spd swap go? I'm doing one in the spring.
Where in Quebec are you? Montreal area?

hi, I'm 1 hour down from Montreal.
The swap went great. The hardest part is actually finding all the components to actually do the swap. It took me a few weeks to gather everything. I even did a second tranny swap in a 1996 Accord 4 door, and it was twice as quick to do. I hope you are changing your engine at the same time, because it really is simpler once the engine bay is empty.
If you need pointers, I can post a DIY once I take the time to write one!

Yes, I'm pulling the engine and dropping in the F22B1.

So you're down in the eastern townships then? My aunt is in Bedford and my dad grew up just outside of Valleyfield.

LOL, I could say the same about Cali..........believe me, by february you get quite tired of beautiful Canadian winters......

How about we have an exchange program? You can come here and stay with me in our summer and see the sights, and I'll come down to Cali in the winter and you can show me around?

I hear that. I was sick of winter this year before the end of December. In Ottawa we received two 40cm dumps within two weeks of each other with 5cm and 10cm dumps in between before mid Dec. Since then we've received many more big dumps of snow and quite frankly, I'm sick of it. I have no where left to shovel it. This is the most snow we've had in at least 10 years. I was fortunate to go down to New Mexico for the past 2 weeks for a Military Exercise. It was about 20c on average. Get back and it was -26c with a 15-10cm dump the next day! Winter sucks.
Sorry, had to vent.
Canada is gorgeous in the summer Silver.
