Lots of work on the wagon. Glad to see you are still keeping it up.

What kind of exhaust did you put in? Did you go back to OEM to make it quiet?

Yes. Well it's a walker exhaust. They promise to be as quiet as OEM or quieter.

Yes, Walker makes OEM-style baffled mufflers. Should work as well as OEM mufflers, although they probably won't last as long.

All I know, is that if I'm not pedal to the floor, the car is whisper quiet.

So I got a call from the audio shop today. They were wondering if I was happy with the 8" sub.

I told them while it SOUNDS absolutely stunning, I can't FEEL the bass.

They had a 15" digital designs sub they were going to install in a guys car but he flaked out. Normally retails for $650, but they're willing to part with it for $470 out the door.

How could I say no to that?

Good. God. Just holy hell. This enclosure was purpose built for SQL competitions. Tuned to 48 hz. It's absolutely delicious. Granted it wasn't super crazy, but I did a hair trick. With a single 15. Also I'm not exact on the measurements but I believe it hits around 140 db because it's hard to breathe, you can't hear someone yelling next to you, and most people I know can't sit in the car longer than ten seconds without ear protection.

Due to being tuned so high, it's missing in the 20-30hz range, but I really don't care. Hair trick.

You did an auto swap? Thats madness! So did you have to change the transmission computer out when you did the swap?

Nope! Same computer! Runs perfect, just redlines around 125 mph. Still slow but catches people off guard. Nearly as fast as a stock manual transmission scion tc. It REALLY catches people by surprise at 80+ mph because of the short ass final gear.

I really want to turbo this thing but subwoofer comes first.

Metered 142 db today. 135 db on music. Once I get my second amp, I SHOULD be able to hit 150, or at least damn close which is incredible for a trunk build with the back seats up on a single 15.

Nice numbers. I did a 148.7db with 4 pioneer 10"woofers and a 1600 watt Memphis amp. Talk about a nice massage.
