Re: Upgrade '96 EX Wagon audio w/ Honda OEM

Any double DIN unit from a '98~2001 Honda Accord should fit the opening and will give you both CD and cassette (you will need an adapter harness to plug the radio into your existing wiring in your wagon). You can also get an OEM single CD unit that will plug into your factory radio/cassette and moun...

HondafestNW 2016

Went to HondafestNW 2016 at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA. on Sunday. This is an "All Honda-Acura" event in the Pacific Northwest. The car show this year had 240 entrants and 5000+ spectators. I was originally going to go in my 4th Gen wagon but it wasn't ready so I took the 5th Gen wagon (...

Yup. 20 seconds of fame and then back to the garage. I'll be at Hondafest again this year with the '91 wagon. Actually that Civic wagon had a B16 turbo in it. He will be there as well this year.

Re: Not a wagon but another one joins the fleet.

My car was on TV Tuesday. A Cop show made in Vancouver, BC. called "Motive" Here is a link, https://www.animmex.co/video/15834/motive-s04e02-the-dead-name hope it works outside of Canada (let me know either way). Full disclosure, my friend that I bought the car from owned it when the episo...

Yup! Already done a "rebuild" with a kit. Haven't touched a carb in 30 years LOL.

Not a wagon but another one joins the fleet.

Going back to my roots with this one. Bought my first Civic in 1977 (only new car I've ever owned). This one is a '79. Lots of little things to work on however the body and interior are done. Collector plates allow me to insure it cheap and use it any time for pleasure driving. http://www3.telus.net...

Re: Wagon Cross Bars for roof rack

If your racks are all metal (not the plastic racks from the '96~'97 wagon) then these bars work perfectly (will need to to trim to the correct length as the Odyssey has a wider roof). http://www.ebay.com/itm/HONDA-ODYSSEY-99-00-01-02-03-04-OE-ROOF-RACK-CROSSBARS-FACTORY-REPLACEMENT-SET-/171745010414...

One thing leads to another

It's been a while since I've done any upgrades on the wagons. Mostly just fluid changes and cleaning. This hasn't stopped the constant watch for deals on parts (which I seem to keep finding and piling up in the garage). So it's time to put some of these parts to good use. It started last fall when I...

Pretty much goes without saying that swapping different series motors you need the transmission of the motor you are putting in too.

Re: Front end conversion.

If you had a body shop frame to put the pieces on while you welded it all together it should be doable. If you're looking to put a "J" swap V6 then it would give you more room. If power is the end game then K24 swap (with RSX type S head) and turbo is the way to go these days. The "H&...

Re: A/C blower/fan needs replacing '91 LX WAGON

Nice ! ,thanks, I think you just saved me a lot of $$$ if I can do this replacement myself, the part at advance auto parts (local) is 82.99, motor only. Many thanks again....! http://www.ebay.com/itm/HVAC-Blower-Motor-Front-TYC-700104-fits-90-93-Honda-Accord-2-2L-L4-/391059644176?fits=Make%3AHonda|...
